National Elevator Industry Educational Program Facility

A complete renovation of an existing warehouse to create an educational training facility for the elevator industry trade.

This facility features rooms dedicated both to instructor training seminars as well as hands-on lab workshops, a lecture hall, a development suite, warehouse space, an on site cafeteria, and a glass-enclosed hoistway with a fully operational elevator installation that provides easy and safe observation for learning.

Outside of the dining area, a 1,000 SF outdoor area, fully landscaped with a stamped concrete floor and enclosed in stone pillars and artistic wood fencing.

Design elements include a center atrium with a fully-functioning training elevator, a large central skylight to introduce light in the center of the building, and a detailed metal panel clad exterior.

The Training Center is equipped with state-of-the-art audio/video technology in all presentation spaces to enhance the training experience. The building is also the new home of IUEC Local 39 in a separate section of the facility where their offices and classrooms are located.
