Historic stone building in Cranston Rhode Island

Rhode Island Department of Labor Historic Windows

Over the past 10 years, Rowse has worked with the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training to replace 910 windows in their historic Cranston, RI offices.

Special attention is being paid to historic details and site aesthetics of the late 19th century stone building. Our team worked directly with Andersen Windows to replicate historic windows down to the smallest detail, with each design reviewed by the Rhode Island Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission.

The updated glazing has superior thermal performance and contributes to energy efficiency of the building and a healthier work environment for occupants. Construction work is taking place during building occupation with strategic phase plan to minimize disruption to workspace areas during construction.

More detail on this restoration can be found on the Project Press Release.
